Testimonies
We would like to express our deep gratitude for your attention to our region, through instigating fruitful projects, like Agro-forestry and Bee-keeping, which are of great benefit to our environment and society. We wish you health and progress. Sleiman Moustafa Khouder and Akkar Inhabitants (Agriculture)*****I would like to thank the Foundation staff for making me feel part of a family and for the loving & caring attitude towards all of us and for the hope planted in our hearts. Ismail Harb (Agriculture) ***** We, the beneficiaries of the craft workshops of the Awareness Program, are grateful for the help offered to us by the Foundation, wishing it everlasting success and progress. Sana bou Shakra, Mona Sraj, Raja Ammar, Nesma Halawi, and Siwar Araaji. (Awareness) ***** We have been dreaming of a spark to enlighten our dark path with knowledge, far from worldly benefits. This dream became reality with the Makhzoumi Foundation, which has been established to provide the Lebanese people with the necessary knowledge and skills, giving them the opportunity to be a productive power and improve their economical status, especially these days, with the prevailing difficult economical situation. Makhzoumi Foundation drives us to utilize our talents and abilities for our own benefit and the benefit of our society. Trainees of the Civic Centers Program ***** We will always be grateful to this Foundation, before which, education was only a dream to many of us. The dream turned to reality as knowledge became available to any Lebanese citizen without discrimination. This honorable Foundation provides the general public with several specializations to help them attain job opportunities to face difficulties and needs of life. Trainees of the Civic Centers Program ***** I believe that the Micro Credit Program is very important as it helped me a lot in my work. The loans gave me the opportunity to transfer my small shop into a real hairdressing saloon. In fact this program became well known in our society as I am acquainted with many ladies who have benefited from it. Most of them were not working women until they were encouraged by the loans given to start their own business, especially since the Foundation follows-up with them from the starting point till they achieve their goal. Faten Hamoud( Aisha Bakkar) – Hairdresser (Micro-Credit) ***** I believe this program targets those who do not have any support, offering them the chance to survive the difficulties of life. I was able through this program to improve my small project, to increase my income and to satisfy my family needs. Hoda Zeidan( South Suburb of Beirut ) - Trade (Micro-Credit) ***** I was suffering from financial difficulties, as I was not able to buy the necessary spare parts needed for repairing chandeliers. I used to take a deposit from my customers to get these spare parts and my profit was minimal before benefiting from the Micro-Credit Program, which gave me a real push. The first loan enabled me to buy the tools I needed and to increase my profit. The following loans helped me to expand my work by renting another shop and supplying it with the necessary equipment. I thank the Foundation for implementing this program, which gave me the chance to improve my business and to satisfy my family needs. Mahmoud Saad(Ouzai)- Chandelier Repair (Micro-Credit)
