People with Special Needs rides the globalization tide

In the framework of Makhzoumi Foundation’s concern to support people with special needs enabling them to integrate into the civil society, the Foundation represented by its President, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, signed an agreement with Mr. Hisham Salman, aiming to support the development of the on-line Code Project "Snoorfi", founded by Mr. Salman. This event took place at the Foundation’s headquarters in Ras Beirut, on June 29, 2010, in the presence of the Foundation’s Deputy General Manager Mr. Samer Safah, Mrs. Makhzoumi Consultant Eng. Sallama Namani, and Mrs. Hanan Salman, Mr. Salman’s wife.
"Snoorfi" is a social network with special services for the deaf that would enable them to keep up with the developments in the internet world that made the Earth a small village, providing them with the opportunity to express themselves and communicate with all parts of the world, just like other members of the society.
Hisham Issam Salman, was born on January 1st, 1982 at Shmestar in Bekaa-Lebanon. He studied at Father Endwikh School at Yarze-Lebanon, and then he got 6 diplomas in computer sciences, thanks to his ambition and diligence. He is married to Hanan AL Hajj Ali, and he has two children, Issam (3 years) and Talal (one year).
Mr. Salman works at Assafir news paper, and at TL (Tele Liban) as a sign language expert.
The Makhzoumi Foundation’s contribution falls within the context of its efforts to enhance the potentials of human resources to face future challenges and to ensure more literacy and IT experience to be able to ride the globalization tide, including people with special needs.
